1:00 pm - Keynote Address - She Who Holds Up the World - Donna DeNomme
Workshop Room
Do you feel the weight of somehow having to "hold up" your world? Are you carrying excessive expectations and responsibilities on your back? In what ways are you personally called to show up each day? Donna DeNomme drew upon a very difficult period in her life to author an inspirational, award-winning book, Turtle Wisdom: Coming Home to Yourself. Her practical tips recall the ancient power and feminine wisdom of one of the greatest symbols known in myth and culture throughout the world. In Hindu mythology, the tortoise actually supports the world on her back. The commonly held notion of a turtle shell conjures the image of a very rounded top, dependable and sturdy. What better place to envision our womb of consciousness, where we can dream our dreams and from which we can birth our reality?
This dynamic Keynote Presentation explores how the Divine Feminine Energy will be the transformational force that will catalyze significant changes in our time, and is already in motion, including the suddenly-real possibility of a woman president. Fascinating stories about inspirational women like Marilyn Van Derbur Atler, Wilma Mankiller and Mother Teresa illustrate the strength of feminine Turtle Wisdom. Learn how you can skillfully carry all that you do, in a way which is healthy and balanced, fulfilled and unfrazzled in your everyday life. Give yourself permission to be happy and to achieve the greatness that you were destined to express!
Donna was voted Colorado's "Spiritual Health Guru" by 5280 Magazine. She is the author of the award winning book, Turtle Wisdom: Coming Home to Yourself, and has spent over 25 years assisting clients with their healing, life enrichment and spiritual development.
